Organismos de Certificación acreditados por el GSTC

El GSTC presta servicios de acreditación a Organismos de Certificación que acreditan la sostenibilidad de hoteles, alojamientos y operadores turísticos. El GSTC también presta servicios de acreditación a organismos de certificación que certifican la sostenibilidad de los destinos.

Acreditado significa que un Organismo de Certificación (CB, por sus siglas en inglés) ha sido verificado a través de una rigurosa revisión externa por parte de un organismo de acreditación, mediante la cual el GSTC garantiza que el CB concede la certificación a las empresas de acuerdo con procesos que cumplen las normas y buenas prácticas internacionales. Las empresas certificadas por un CB Acreditado pueden utilizar el logotipo del GSTC junto con la marca del organismo de certificación.

Los CBs que figuran a continuación han sido Acreditados por cumplir los requisitos del Manual para la Acreditación del GSTC.

The Mauritius Standards Bureau (MSB) is a non-profit parastatal body in the island of Mauritius that certifies Hotels & Accommodations and Tour Operators operating within the Mauritian jurisdiction and territories, as per the GSTC-Recognized Standard MS 165 (Sustainable Tourism Management System) labelled as the Blue Oasis. MSB holds a prominent regional and international presence, contributing to standardization and conformity assessment bodies. The paramount goal of MSB is to drive industrial advancement and foster economic expansion in Mauritius, by boosting the local tourism industry towards sustainability.

Green Destinations

Green Destinations (GD) es una organización sin ánimo de lucro de expertos y embajadores de destinos que trabajan en 80 países. GD apoya a una amplia comunidad de gestores de destinos locales, regionales y nacionales y a las partes interesadas, mejorando la sostenibilidad de los destinos, la visibilidad en el mercado y la calidad del turismo. El Comité de Certificación de GD supervisa la certificación y los premios de referencia (Bronce, Plata, Oro, Platino) basados en la Norma GD reconocida por el GSTC y en otras normas (por ejemplo, nacionales). La DG ofrece a los destinos y países herramientas de vanguardia para la evaluación de referencia, el seguimiento, la elaboración de informes y el desarrollo estratégico, también en relación con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de las Naciones Unidas.
