“It’s been our great pleasure to be present at FHA, sharing our insights on how sustainable tourism is shaping the future of our industry. The food service industry is a key player in tourism, and its impact on both the environment and local communities is significant. As GSTC is expanding the criteria development to F&B providers, we look forward to have more in-depth discussions,” shared Rita Kuan.

FHA-HoReCa has evolved from the renowned Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) and brought together an extensive line-up of exhibitors and participants from around the world. With over 45,000 international suppliers and quality buyers,  the event served as a platform for sourcing new products, establishing valuable connections, and gaining insights into the latest market trends.

The event’s focus on direct contact with manufacturers allowed attendees to engage with over 70% of exhibitors who are direct manufacturers, facilitating efficient sourcing and maximizing hospitality experiences. The FHA-HoReCa 2024 event represented an opportunity for hospitality professionals to connect, collaborate, and innovate.

Singapore will also be the stage for GSTC’s Global Sustainable Tourism Conference 13-16 November, 2024  seeking to bring together global and local tourism professionals committed to promoting and advancing sustainable travel and tourism.
