 GSTC Offers Training Accessible to Deaf and Hard of Hearing Participants

The recent Online Sustainable Tourism Training for Indonesians that started on the 7th of February has been more inclusive than before.

Accompanying our trainers CB Ramkumar (GSTC trainer and GSTC Vice-Chair) and Dr. Cherise Addinsall (GSTC trainer and Research Fellow at Southern Cross University) we had two sign language interpreters present throughout the training to assist three people with hearing difficulties. Thank you Tamiang and Uci for making our training more accessible too all partcipants!

At GSTC, we believe that everyone should have equal access to training opportunities. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive learning environment that caters to the needs of all our participants. This marks the first step in our efforts to incorporate more inclusive and accessible training program. We hope that this will be the first of many such initiatives to come.
