The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) will hold a workshop for Japanese GSTC Members in Tokyo on May 13th, 2024, in collaboration with JTB Corp. The gathering will be held at JTB Tennozu Head Office Building – 20th Floor Large Hall.
This event marks the second workshop of its kind in Japan for GSTC Members, further enriched by the visit of GSTC CEO Randy Durband, GSTC General Manager Roi Ariel, GSTC Asia Pacific Manager Emi Kaiwa, and GSTC Market Development Manager Rita Kuan. Building on the success of the first workshop held in September 2023, which attracted over 40 participants from 15 GSTC Organizations and Destination Members in Japan, this upcoming workshop aims to strengthen the coordination of actions among GSTC Members to promote global sustainable tourism.
This workshop represents a significant opportunity for GSTC Members in Japan to engage with fellow members, gain a deeper understanding of the GSTC Criteria, network with peers, and broaden their knowledge about sustainable tourism practices. At this second workshop, we extend the invitation to the GSTC organization members who have their staff in Japan.
To culminate the day’s events, a reception will be held, offering participants a chance to connect, relax and reflect on the day’s learnings in a more informal setting.
If your staff in Japan is interested in participating in this meeting, kindly email Emi Kaiwa (emi(at) gstcouncil.org) before April 2nd, 2024.
