16 February 2017, Murcia, Spain – Luigi Cabrini, GSTC Chair, led the discussion on “Environmental sustainability as a model for change” at 1st UNWTO World Conference on Smart Destinations1st UNWTO World Conference on Smart Destinations. A speaker in the discussion was Ingunn Sørnes, Special Advisor on Sustainability, Innovation Norway, a GSTC Destination Early Adopter and a GSTC member. Ingunn is also a member of the International Standards Working Group (ISWG).
The 1st UNWTO World Conference on Smart Destinations was organized in order to lead and shape this new tourism model for the 21st century, based on Innovation, Technology, Sustainability and Accessibility.
