The GSTC participated in the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association’s (IGLTA) Global Convention that took place on May 9-12, 2018, in Toronto, Canada.
The IGLTA Global Convention is the world’s premier educational and networking event for LGBTQ tourism professionals. The 35th edition of the conference will connect gay, lesbian and gay-friendly travel and tourism suppliers and buyers through its hosted buyer and scheduled appointment programme, numerous educational workshops, and networking receptions.
The session Communicating Sustainability Internally and to Your Clients was Moderated by GSTC CEO, Randy Durband. The panel included GSTC Member Rika Jean-Francois (CSR Commissioner at ITB Berlin), Trudi Pearce (Partner – Responsible Tourism at The Brighter Group) and Yves Marceau (VP Product at G Adventures).
