HIC Summit successfully convened on the island of Ibiza from October 18th to 20th, 2023, for its fifth consecutive year. This gathering brought together an array of celebrated professionals, destinations, scientists, and businesses to engage in meaningful dialogues.
Luigi Cabrini, GSTC Chair, moderated the panel « Destinations that Inspire,” whose participants were:

Concluding the summit on Friday, October 20th, participants gathered for the 5th Hospitality Inspiration Council Forum at the Universitat de les Illes Balears, in Ibiza. It addressed topics such as resilience, challenges and opportunities for businesses and tourist destinations, safety of destinations, tourism intelligence, and digital transformation.
Since 2019, HIC has featured more than 100 speakers and 3,500 attendees, both in-person and virtually, who have contributed to spreading the message to over 40 countries around the world. To mark the culmination of the HIC Summit 2023 edition, the evening was capped off with the « Night of Tourism, » which consisted of a tour of different and emblematic places on the island and live music.
HIC Summit, in collaboration with Ibiza, the Balearic Islands Tourist Strategy Agency (AETIB), and funded by Next Generation EU funds, is the fifth forum in a series of conferences aimed at discussing and disseminating cross-cutting aspects of sustainable development and people’s well-being, both for businesses and tourist destinations.
