In 2021, the company marked significant milestones, including joining the Race to Zero initiative and establishing an ambitious target to reduce carbon emissions by 35% by 2035, and announcing its roadmap to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
The publication of a Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-aligned roadmap showcased the company’s commitment, encompassing the integration of new technologies through fleet renewal, operational efficiencies, airspace modernization, adoption of sustainable aviation fuel, and carbon removal technologies.
