ABOUT THE COURSE
GSTC Sustainable Hospitality Course (SHC)
The course will teach key industry players in the hotels and their inhouse staff about the GSTC Industry Criteria with Performance Indicators. With the aim to equip staff on best practices on sustainability actions, the course will encompass a wide range of practical and real-life hotel examples.
The course is designed for staff who interact with guests in everyday operations; it will include many practical level case studies for all staff including the management level. The case studies suggested here may act as benchmarks for practitioners and give lessons on sustainability best practices.
TRAINERS
Mr. Kingston Khoo
Kingston holds over 20 years of hospitality and tourism experience, a bachelor’s in technology management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and is a licensed tourist guide in Malaysia. His fervor for sustainable tourism and its role in preserving Malaysia’s natural and cultural heritage, prompted him to look at tourism and hospitality marketing in a more holistic way.
He has been serving as the Group Head of Marketing at Tradewinds Hotels & Resorts and was the Director of Sales & Marketing of Mutiara Taman Negara for 6 years. Through these roles, Kingston gained profound insights into how sustainable tourism enriches the experiences of Mr Kingston Khoo travelers, benefits local communities, and contributes to biodiversity conservation.

The registration fees are:
- S$ 900 per person (Full Fee)
- S$ 294.30 per person (Nett Fee after 70% SkillsFuture Singapore funding – Singaporeans and Singapore PR only)
- S$ 114.30 per person (Nett Fee after 90% Enhanced Training Support Subsidy for SMEs – Singaporeans and Singapore PR only)
