Successful GSTC Sustainable Tourism Trainings were held online from July 1 to 31 and November 4 to 8, 2024, sponsored by the Georgian Ecotourism Association and the Georgian Tourism Association. A total of 72 professionals participated, eager to deepen their knowledge of sustainable tourism. The trainings were conducted by GSTC esteemed Trainers CB Ramkumar and Federica Bosco, who shared their expertise through practical examples and valuable insights.

The enthusiasm and commitment of the participants was admirable. The genuine intent for Georgia to become a sustainable destination, and the tourism stakeholders to become sustainable businesses was palpable. The GSTC Sustainable Tourism Course offers valuable insights and practical skills for advancing sustainability in tourism. Participants gain a comprehensive understanding of the GSTC Criteria, the internationally recognized standards for sustainable tourism, enriched by real-world case studies from global and local contexts.
Completing the course grants participants a certificate, with the option to further validate their expertise by taking the GSTC Professional Certificate exam and obtaining the GSTC Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism .
