GSTC at World Economic Forum Executive Roundtable GSTC CEO Randy Durband participated at the World Economic Forum Executive Roundtable on the Future of Travel and Tourism and other sessions as part of their Urban Transformation Forum held at the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco, USA, in October 2024.

This Roundtable gathered 25 prominent leaders from the public and private sectors to engage in meaningful discussions on crucial issues, including advancing sustainability and climate action, fostering a vibrant ecosystem, and leveraging technology and innovation within the travel industry. Co-chaired by H.E. Minister Al-Khateeb of the Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia and Jeremy Jurgens of the World Economic Forum, the roundtable highlighted a collective commitment to shaping a sustainable future for the travel industry.

Mr. Durband shared insights along with industry leaders Andreas Hardeman from the World Economic Forum, Glenn Mandziuk Chief Executive Officer at World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance,  Liz Ortiguera Managing Director and Sr Advisor at World Travel & Tourism Council and Jim Sano Vice President, Travel, Tourism and Conservation at the World Wildlife Fund.
